Bogey Lanes 199 North Brookfield Rd East Brookfield, MA 01515 508.867.6629 Come to Bogey Lanes where you'll find fun for the whole family. We have 12 lanes of Candlepin Bowling, a style of bowling unique to New England. Friday and saturday evenings the lights go out, the pins are aglow and the music picks up for "Cosmic Bowling", a glow in the dark bowling experience. If you've never tried Candlepin your in for a treat! Play a game of pool on our billiards tables or visit our arcade room. If your looking for an outside activity play on our Brand New 18 Hole Miniature Golf Course and top your visit off with a trip to our ice cream bar featuring the best ice cream in the Brookfield's (opened seasonally from April until the beginning of November). Wells State Park Rte. 49, Sturbridge Wells State Park is a popular 1,400-acre woodland park. The two principal activities are camping and hiking. The campground has 60 attractive sites. Walker Pond provides a peaceful setting for fishing, canoeing, and swimming. The swimming beach is for campers' use only. During the summer, Wells has an interpretive program available which provides guided walks, hikes, recreational activities and evening campfire programs. Contact the park for a weekly schedule of events. More than 10 miles of trails cross the property, which are for hiking only; off-road vehicles may not be used. A popular route leads to the scenic vista at Carpenter Rocks from which the eastern section and Walker Pond can be viewed. Wells is only five miles by car from Old Sturbridge Village, a nationally-renowned living history museum of New England village life in and around 1800.
